Does an electronically signed lease have the same value as a paper lease?
Yes. A qualified electronic signature (itsme, eID) has the same legal value as a handwritten signature under Belgian and European law (eIDAS regulation). An electronically signed lease is fully valid and registrable.
How much time do you save by going digital?
On average, landlords go from 5 to 10 hours per month with paper management to 1 to 2 hours per month with software. The biggest gains are on indexation, reminders and document retrieval.
Can I digitize my existing paper leases?
